Over the years, KDC has organized the program “FACTORY VISIT FOR STUDENTS” at Kinh Do Binh Duong to give students opportunities for improving their real-life knowledge and experience of manufacturing activities at a large corporation in the Food industry.
So far, thousands of students from various colleges and universities in HCMC and neighboring areas have visited KDC’s Binh Duong factory. In 2013 only, approximately 700 students have participated in this factory visit program. From the beginning of 2014 to date, KDC have also welcomed almost 400 lecturers and students from Foreign Trade University, HCMC University of Technology, and MBA students of USA Southern Maine University in different factory visits.
Joining the program, students were able to observe workers’ activities on the production line. They were especially interested in observing the crackers such as Cosy Marie and KFC… being produced on the most state-of-the-art cracker production line in Asia. Besides, they could also learn about KDC history and turning points over the past 20 years, apprenticeship programs and recruitment policy, as well as converse with and get the sharing from KDC’s leader team. These are truly precious knowledge that can hardly be found in mere books. The opportunity helped raise students’ learning spirit, remind them of practicing “learning by doing”, and give them some ideas for their future job orientation.
